Each semester, FCC hosts a Transfer Fair with 40+ four-year colleges and universities in attendance as well as weekly visits by admissions representatives from four-year colleges in our area. Maryland’s community colleges have dozens of transfer agreements with colleges and universities, both in-state and out-of-state, that guarantee the maximum number of credits will transfer and save students thousands of dollars in achieving their bachelor’s degrees.įrederick Community College maintains nearly 80 articulation agreements with four-year institutions. With 71% of FCC students planning to transfer each year on average, our dedicated Career & Transfer counselors continue to provide assistance, resources and guidance throughout the process. More than 50% of Maryland’s community college students transfer to in-state colleges and universities to complete their baccalaureate degrees. In addition, FCC offers current high school students access to college courses through its Open Campus and High School-Based Dual Enrollment programs.
